The first-ever Helix Shake Out. What a day!

We had just six weeks to pull this off and needed to figure out everything from scratch. But we turned ourselves into event organizers, heat press experts, software developers, and hype men. When the room filled with people on this sunny Saturday morning, it exceeded our expectations.

Everyone was gifted our custom Helix Shake Out shirt with the option to choose between three artworks designed by Daan Timmer, freshly heat-pressed on the spot.

Dopper

Dopper came through with their fantastic Insulated Stainless Steel 350ml bottle for everyone to enjoy and take home. This ensured everyone could refill their Dopper, avoiding unnecessary waste. Customized with the Helix logo since these can be printed with any design. Why use plastic bottles when you can Just Refill; right?!

The actual run

Elten was our hype man, MC, warm-up leader; guiding the group through some easy movements before Rick led the pack on the 5K. We had a blast! When we came back there were snacks made by the amazing Marcela, more coffee and gifts from DFNS to ensure everyone’s gear stayed fresh and protected.
