We fell in love with the trails.

In June, the team traveled to the Ardennes for a week-long team outing on the trails. It all happened quite spontaneously when Demi and Marlisha decided they wanted a trail camp during their holiday. They booked the house and allowed the rest of the team to come and go as they pleased.

It was the perfect format because it didn’t require all of us to take a week or more from our calendars and make arrangements. We ended up with a house full of runners, an inflatable pool, home-cooked meals, and running as each day’s main activity.

I think we all fell in love with the trails, if we hadn’t done so already. It’s a completely different experience. It’s outdoor play for adults exploring, finding routes, enjoying nature with pace being the last thing on our minds.

It’s probably safe to say a yearly tradition has been born.
